Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of the photo session for the “Abbey Road” album cover (photographed by Iain Macmillan)…

The actual crossing is a pretty big tourist attraction and I’m sure that tomorrow it will be busier than usual at St. John’s Wood. So, why not fix a cup of tea and a biscuit and from the comfort of your own home, watch all the action on the Abbey Road Studios Webcam?
One of our most famous clients, The Beatles, recorded 90% of their recordings at Abbey Road studios. In April 1969, they came together to record their final album as a group and titled it ‘Abbey Road.’ This album became their best selling work and featured Abbey Road Studios and the now iconic image of the zebra crossing on the front cover.
Here, you can see for yourself the most famous black and white stripes in London by viewing our webcam, which is trained on the crossing 24 hours a day.
OK…OK…OK, so yesterday I kind of bagged it on the Phil Spector thing. I phoned it in somewhat and my thinking was; “I’ve already written enough about this guy and if I just put the goofy picture up there, people will like it just as much as if I write some insightful, pithy, sarcastic remarks”. That’s what I was thinking, you know?
Fact is, I should have held on to that card because, I really, really don’t have anything to add to today’s Phil Spector photo…

MUG SHOT
Actually, it’s been raining this morning. This photo was from a couple of days ago but, some good Easterish colors, I think.
