The media coverage of a story is not supposed to be a story itself.

This morning, we have the media covering the story of how the media is covering the story.

First up, Reverend Al Sharpton says that negative controversy has “dominated” the media coverage of Michael Jackson.

Meanwhile, New York Congressman, Peter King, says the media has “disgraced itself” by granting Michael Jackson hero status.
