It appears that I actually under estimated the amount of rainfall across the Ozarks. I’m hearing some say they got 13-15 inches. I went out earlier and looked around. I don’t recall seeing the lake at this level before. I’m not sure about that though, the one you’re going through always seems the worst, you know?

This was shot right down the hill from the Winnebago.

There are actually three docks out in the middle of the cove on that one. When I saw this from the road, it looked a lot worse. I think that these are still attached or, at least they haven’t drifted far if they aren’t.

These next photos were taken down at the Joe Bald Park which is more in the main channel. These docks are from elsewhere. Don’t know from where. Could be from anywhere.

Same dock from a different angle.

That’s a little picnic shelter in the foreground there. It’s anchored to a concrete slab. I’m not going to guess how far the shelter is from the water when the lake is at a normal level but, I’ve sat there before when it was, and it’s not right on top of the water.

Pretty good size one here.

and here…

A lot of people wonder why I live at the lake, have for a long time and, never have owned a boat. I’ll admit that it would be nice to pop out on the water whenever I felt like it but, I’m glad I don’t have this kind of hassle.

And, the water is still rising.

UPDATE:

This is from the Branson Daily News.

According to the officials with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Little Rock District office, Table Rock Lake is expected to crest at 931 feet above sea level, sometime on Saturday. The normal conservation pool is 915 feet, but by 8 a.m. on Tuesday, the lake had risen to 921 feet.
