Last week, Gary left this comment in a gig announcement post for a Thirst N’ Howl gig.
Hey Jack, me and some fellow musicians here in the UK would be interested in seeing a typical thirst n howl setlist. maybe post it here or to me and I’ll blog it – whatever works. Cheers!

So, like I said, we aren’t trying to come up with b-sides or obscure tunes to cover, we are trying for things that audience is going recognize instantly. Within that framework, there is room set aside to blow a little and a couple of things that are carried by the strength of the particular groove. These guys are all pros and a joy to play music with.
Brandi Shortt-vocals
Boyd Manning-drums
Tom Hobson-keyboards
Allen Edwards-bass
By the way everybody sings, including myself, which is a real help when you are playing a wide range of stuff over four sets. The first key to a good cover band is having credible vocals. And, having an outstanding and fearless singer like Brandi (Brandi at MySpace) out front makes it possible to really take flight.
